- Fill the bottom of the bowl with water.
- Place the small jar inside the bowl, making sure not to let the contaminated water enter.
- Place the plastic over the top of the bowl, leaving it just a bit slack.
- Place the rock or other heavy object on top of the plastic so that it is weighed down in the center.
- Put the bowl in a sunny place.
- Wait for the water to evaporate and fall into the smaller jar.
- Once your water has filtered, remove the plastic, and take the small jar out of the bowl.
- Enjoy your freshly filtered water!
